Incorporate some top butt boosting exercises to your workout

Lift and tone your behind with some of these exercises the next time you’re working out. You can even do some of them at home in front of the television!

Sumo Squats

To start, stand with your feet together. Then with your right foot, take a wide step and squat down. As you straighten your legs, step back in with your right foot. Repeat on the left side. Do as many of these as you can for 30 seconds. Repeat 5 times.

Glute Bridge with foot tap

Lay on your back with your feet on the ground around hips-width distance apart. Your knees should be bent to a 90-degree angle. Then squeezing your glutes, lift your butt off the floor as high as you can, keeping your back on the floor. Repeat 10 times then rest. Do 3 sets of this. 

Stair climbing

Doing sprints up a steep set of stairs can work wonders on your behind and burn a tonne of calories. Find a set at your local beach or park and run up as fast as you can for 30 seconds. Repeat 5 times.

Want to reduce the size of your behind? Cardio is your go-to

If you’ve got enough junk in the trunk and want to slim it down a bit, cardio is your best friend.  Running and cross training are particularly effective for burning fat, don’t focus too much on cycling though as this exercise can enlarge the glutes even more.
