Congratulations to our newlywed receptionist from Caci Christchurch; Chantal! Check out her top tips:

What do you enjoy most about working at Caci?
I love seeing all of our clients at the reception desk and seeing how their confidence grows and results progress over the course of their journey with us at Caci.

What is your favourite treatment at Caci?
I love Collagen Induction! (Dermal needling) - Actually all facials are glorious!

When did you get married and where?
Married 10th February in Wanaka.

Which skin and beauty preparations did you make in the lead up to your big day?
A series of Sonophoresis Infusion Facials, Micro Needling and the Murad IP5 facial.  I also changed my homecare product so that I kept up with seasonal changes and what my skin really needed at the time.

And do you have any good pre-wedding tips for other bride to be’s?
Plan! – You can never plan too much.  We also took our wedding photos before we got married which gave my hubby and I that special moment for just us without our wedding party around and it also meant that we could enjoy the rest of the day with all of our guests.

Caci's Step by Step Bridal Beauty Guide:

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! You will be busy planning, chosen your dress, booked a venue and sent the invitations. Everything on your list is being ticked off. Now is the time to start working towards healthy, glowing skin. Follow our simple plan from Caci and you’ll be putting your best face forward on your big day:

Six months to go
Have a free consultation at Caci, they will be able to recommend the best options for your skin. Depending on your needs, here are some of the treatments they might recommend:

  • Uneven skin texture: Microdermabrasion, removes dead skin cells and encourages circulation, leaving skin fresh and soft and even in texture.
  • Redness and dark spots/ sun damage: Photo Rejuvenation can help to reduce broken capillaries, redness and dark spots.
  • Scarring: Collagen induction (dermal rolling) is a treatment which encourages the production of collagen to plump up the skin.
  • Lines and wrinkles: Frown lines, forehead lines and crows feet can all be softened using appearance medicine. Caci are one of the largest appearance medicine providers and we have easy payment plans to make paying for treatments easy.

One week to go
One final treatment a week before your wedding is ideal. Be wary of trying anything new this close to your big day. It only takes one new ingredient that your skin doesn’t like to trigger an allergy or break out  - and that’s a stress no bride needs!

On the day:
Follow your normal skincare routine. Get at least eight hours sleep if you can! Leave the rest up to the makeup artist and enjoy the day!
