What was your background before deciding to open a Caci?
I have been the financial services industry for the last 16 years; I owned another franchise business in Nelson for 10 years, before selling in 2015 and moving back to my home town of Auckland with my eyes open for another franchise business.
What inspired you to own a clinic?
While in Nelson, I was Caci client and loved the treatments and products so much, I starting encouraging friends to go along too. I was hooked. I heard about Caci’s growth plans and new franchise funding model, which planted the seed. I was looking for a business where I could play a part in the client’s journey, and I already loved the Caci treatments and products.
I wanted to gain experience by working within the business so started working at a Caci clinic, in a sales role. This role confirmed that it was a great fit for me and my passion, I need to believe in the product that I promote, and Caci was a no brainer for me!
What made you make the decision to go ahead and own your own clinic?
I met with Franchise Development Manager, Hilary, and she helped clarify the details around how to go about opening a Caci. She was a great sounding board as she had owned a clinic herself before, so her knowledge was invaluable. Caci has a strong brand presence and I loved the marketing force behind Caci; which gave me confidence in my choice.
How has the opening process been so far?
The whole team at Caci Support Office have been great, from the fit-out to marketing, there has been a lot of support throughout the whole process.
What excites you most about the open day of Caci Birkenhead?
I just can’t wait to get started! I look forward to seeing my team finally in place, all excited and motivated to achieve their own personal goals and see Caci Birkenhead grow.
What would you say to someone thinking about opening a Caci?
I think you need to truly believe in the product and be passionate about helping clients feel fantastic, it’s more than just a business.
