How does Sonophoresis work?

Sonophoresis uses ultra sound and lontophoresis technology to introduce topical skincare through into the dermal layer, where our skin structures such as collagen, elastin, capillary network, and the master fibroblast skin cells are found.

During the treatment, a small paddle is passed over the skin and the sound waves gently infuse a mix of products into the skin. Your Caci Beauty Therapist will choose the type of infusion treatment best suited to your skin at the time. The treatment temporally increases your skins permeability which allows for higher absorption of active products for better, long lasting results.

Why you’ve got to try it

Improved Hydration

Our hydrating infusions use a combination of nourishing ingredients such as Vitamin C and Hyaulronic acid during the treatment, to deeply penetrate into the skin, providing intense hydration and nourishment to relieve dry skin. Unlike a normal topical moisturiser, which is only penetrating the surface of the skin.

Stimulate collagen production

As we age, our skin collagen levels tend to decrease which can lead to dull, sagging skin. This is further accelerated by excessive sun exposure, smoking and free radicals.  Vitamin C is an essential component in the body’s production of collagen. When applied topically during Sonophoresis, it absorbs deeply into the skin and boosts collagen production to maintain youthful looking skin.

Reduce redness

The active ingredients infused into the skin during Sonophoresis also helps reduce redness. Vitamin C and lactic acid are essential for repairing and strengthening damaged capillary walls, so is effective for treating redness, rosacea and broken capillaries.
