So, you've decided to take the plunge and get laser hair removal – great! You've started on your journey to a silky-smooth future.

But before you head to your first appointment, there are a few things you'll need to know to help you get the best results out of your treatment plan

Here's how to prep before having a laser hair removal treatment.

Before the treatment

One or two days before your treatment, trim or shave all the hair from the area – we only need 2mm of visible hair for the laser to work.

During your treatment plan

In between treatments you can shave the areas being treated, but avoid any other form of hair removal – including waxing, threading or plucking.

Avoid sun exposure, sunbeds or fake tan while getting the treatments as this may prevent you having a treatment and cause a disruption in your schedule – which can ultimately affect your results.

In the two weeks leading up to your next treatment, you should also avoid applying any potential skin irritants to the treatment area (this includes depilatory creams and skincare products with glycolic acid or retinoids).

At Caci, we've been treating our clients with laser hair removal for over 20 years and our experienced, friendly staff will ensure you have all the information you need to know throughout your hair removal program with us.

If you're considering laser hair removal, we'd highly recommend booking a free consultation to see whether it's the right option for you.
